CodeSweeper is out today on itch. Free, runs in your browser, no install and no account.
It’s a take on the classic team word-guessing party game. One player on each team is the clue-giver: they see the secret board and hand out one-word hints plus a number. Everyone else races to pick their team’s targets — and to not pick the assassin.
What’s different
Most versions of this game are text on cards. CodeSweeper mixes the board up: some rounds are words, some are images, some are sounds. That small change keeps clue-giving fresh, because hinting at a picture or a sound is a different puzzle than hinting at a word.
- Two single-player modes: an AI clue bot, and a daily puzzle
- 6-character room codes, no sign-up
- Plays across phones, tablets, and TV casting
- Optional variants — timers, co-op modes
